If you haven’t already read about where I’ve been scroll down my blog because this is in the middle!!!
By the time I woke up in the morning the boat was already being prepared for the crossing. I took a few pictures of the dock.
We took the dogs for a walk, then came back for breakfast, which I can never enjoy because shortly after we have to take seasickness pills. The pills that you chew up have this awful taste of orange, I cannot stand them, but I recently found out, from experience, that Dr. Pepper covers the taste of them! So you might wonder why I don’t just take the swallow kind, and it’s because swallowing something that I haven’t chewed is still hard, not impossible, just hard. So after all that we climb into the fly bridge and my grandpa, Papa, starts up the engine. Now Grace can’t stand the rocking so she rides down in the cabin, and I used not to like it either, but the past few trips I’ve enjoyed the rocking more. I still hang out in the cabin after a while, just because it’s more comfortable and I get cold fast outside!! I always start the ride up top, though I move downstairs after a good half hour or so. So we set off!!!
Yep. That’s about everything for this crossing. I was sitting outside, closer to the end, and I got too cold so I went back inside and brought out my sleeping bag! My dad got some pictures of that, but I don’t have them. So just imagine a camouflage blue sleeping bag wrapped around a frozen solid girl!!! 😀 Have a great day!
That sounds awesome. 😀
Do you get seasick (thus the pill)?
I didn’t take a pill one trip, a long time ago, and I did get seasick. I probably wouldn’t now, but I don’t have the nerve to try again!

Just saw your pictures of our stay at the Isthmus and of Cat Harbor. Enjoyed them very much.
