The Arrival

I know, I’ve been gone for a long time but I have to tell you that it feels like I picked up right where I left off, without any time passing. Okay, I was on vacation, I didn’t want to tell you because, you know,  you don’t announce you are leaving on the Internet. I trust all of you but I don’t know reads my blog, only who comments! Anyways I took a long trip to Catalina Island, stayed on a 36 foot boat that seems big until you put 8 people and three dogs on it, plus their stuff, plus food for a week! Anyways, I’m going to break everything up into short little posts, because I’m pretty sure that I set a record for picture taking, some 350 pictures. So part one, when we get to the boat we spend a lot of time unpacking. Once we do all that we send someone to In-and-Out, it’s a tradition to eat there the first night! In between unpacking and dinner I attempted and failed to take pictures of lights and water reflections. Here are the results:

So we finally went to bed around eleven thirty, too exhausted to read, which is a big deal for our family! We all looked forward to the following day where we’d actually make the trip to Catalina and y’all be able to hear about it tomorrow!
