These posts are going to be out of order, but whatever, let’s focus on the fact that it’s summer!!! I love swimming for fun at our grandparents’ house, cooling off in water and shade, then tanning in the sun! ( By the way, I don’t tan on purpose, I mean I don’t just lay around in the sun, I tan on accident! )
So this last time that we went to my mom’s parents’ house my sisters and I found this grasshopper in the pool. We didn’t know if it was alive, but I scooped it up with my hands and sure enough it started moving! So before I keep talking for the next several hours, 😀 there’s something you should know about me, I like bugs, love is too strong a word for my feelings and like doesn’t really cut it but listen to the stories.
Okay, I don’t remember how old I was when this all started, but I got, for my birthday or something, a little plastic tank meant for looking at water bugs and stuff, I used it as a bug breeding jar. Not on purpose, I had a little pet beetle that had babies, that were small enough to fit through the air holes, you probably are seeing where that one went, I couldn’t keep that beetle anymore. So the same thing happened again, except it was snails in a cottage cheese container, luckily the snails didn’t get out, but I just started collecting them until they didn’t fit and I had to let them go. Yeah, this happened with loads of other things, I had a pet fly named Star on a vacation on year, I rescue bees all the time! only I hated spiders sort of random, but I didn’t like them. I’m all right with them now, I don’t love them, but at least I don’t scream anymore! So, I still like bugs and other little things…
So anyway this little grasshopper decided that he had a crush on me, so he crawled up my arm, up my braid, over my ear ’til he finally reached the top of my hat, where he finally stayed for like 20 minutes. By then I really wanted to go swimming, so I took my hat off and set it down. My little lover got irritated and left, so I went swimming. My entire family started talking about how I raised snails and my grandma took some pictures. I took some too, because I had remembered to bring my camera!
love the shadow picture!!!!
Are you suuuuuure you don’t smoke?!?! 😀 😀 😀 My favorites are probably the water shots, and that one of Faith is marvelous. 🙂
Hmmm, pretty sure, but you never know, after that movie my reputation went down the drain… 😀 😀 😀
