Thanksgiving

Hey my little leaders, hope you are all feeling awesome in this cold weather! My cold is getting better. Even though I kind of already did a good-bad kind of post, I’m doing a ‘What I’m thankful for’ post for Thanksgiving.

  • You guys. I seriously could not believe that I had 27 followers yesterday when I got the email. A great big thank you to you guys for that! (I have something for you guys, more on that in a bit.)
  • My family and friends. This is a “typical” response to this question, but I would be so different (in a bad way) if I didn’t have all these people in my life.
  • My faith. Nothing makes me happier than being able to turn to God who won’t get angry and hurt me in return for stuff I’ve done.
  • All the things I have. From electronics to problems in my life, I’m happy I have it all. It’s hard to realize what you have, it’s so much easier to see what you don’t have.

So in honor of everything I have, I’d like to give you guys something. I’ve decided to try a give-away. I’m thinking of doing more in the future, but for now I want to start with just a gift card. So, this isn’t starting yet, but it will when this blog reaches 50 Leaders, ok?

Alright, so I have some photos for you all!

Ok, so in this last photo, the little monster face is something I want to do to a pair of ripped jeans I have. I know ripped jeans are in right now, but I don’t love the look, so I wanted to patch up this old pair. I’m trying to decide between the monster faces (I’d have to have one on each knee and I’d probably make them different.) or I could do something like this:

DIY jean knee patches - remember for fall. Also like the shirt

I don’t know which I should do! What do you think? I’m leaning towards monsters, ’cause who cares about how mature you look, right? 😉

Monster knee patch, great for rips in the knee's, for carter cause the other kids dont care! lol

OK! So this post didn’t end up having a ton to do with Thanksgiving, but if you want leave a comment (or link to a blog post) on what you’re thankful for!!

Love you all!

xx

The monsters are cute, but only really on the one pant leg. For the jeans you’re thinking of, I would do the normal patches, unless you really love the monsters then do monster twinsies! Ha Ha! 😀

Yeah, I don’t know. I was thinking about do a couple. Like a boy monster on one and a girl monster with a bow on the other knee.
Ahhh, I don’t know what I should do! It’s a little childish to do the monsters and the gray knee patches would look cool too, but the monsters are so awesome too!
