Love:

-It’s finally getting colder here

-Thanksgiving day is so close now

-I’ve had my sweaters and jackets out for a while, but the past few days I have actually had to wear a sweater

-We had our first rainfall a few nights ago

-My family has been lighting fires in our fireplace for the last couple of evenings

-Our youth group packed some 16 shoe boxes at our house last night for Operation Christmas Child

-Listened to the first Christmas song of the year today

Don’t Love

-The cold means swimming is freezing

-The time change, it’s dark so early

-Winter colds are not fun; I have one right now (hopefully I won’t get any more)

-The looming mid-terms coming up

Hoping

-Christmas comes soon, but only once I’m ready

-Thanksgiving leaves us with lots of leftovers

-It’s not sunny on Christmas (at least could it be foggy, God?)

-I don’t get holiday stress

-I get a letter from one of the kids who gets a shoe box from me
