Weekends, Fall, and Life

I’ll post this now and MAYBE during the week I’ll post something new, but weekends are something I always look forward to. Even during summer break! Usually I don’t need a break from school so much as I need a break from swim, but this year I enjoy the school break. I have never really liked Sundays because all I can think about is “In 24 hours I’ll be listening to a math lesson, then doing homework, then eating lunch, then taking French, then…” Normally on the weekends I read as much as I can and then do some kind of craft, but this weekend I did some work, like unpacking and planning.

I wish leaves changed color here. I really love the way that looks and I’d love to photograph that, but for some reason we just don’t have any trees of that kind. My favorite tree is Aspen and they look really beautiful when they change. I got some new sweaters that I can’t wait to wear, but it’s not worth a heat stroke. Jeans are something that I can’t wait to wear as well, but my legs are really long so finding jeans that fit are a huge challenge. I love the combination of red leaves, sweaters, and jeans. Together I think that spells fall.

Life. Hmm, it’s amazing. School’s tough, the swim pool feels amazing after a run, we can it dryland. That’s a joke because isn’t most land dry? I don’t have a lot of free time but I appreciate the time I get. My toes are painted a bright blue which reminds me of the sky and my fingers are painted with a clear coat with glitter and that reminds me of the stars. which brings me to the next topic: space. A short while ago we watched Apollo 13, I loved it. Besides the part of the guy getting sick, I was fascinated with it. I had a long conversation with my dad about the space program. I thinks it’s really sad that they stopped it. I’m planning on learning everything I can about space, space shuttles, and planets. I’m really interested for some reason, it could be a phase of curiosity or it could be a new passion of mine. I’ll let you know how I feel about it in a while. In the meantime, let me know if you know anything about space stuff and study hard, school’s getting out of review! Have a wonderful day/night and wish me luck in french, math, bio, history… 😀

Life really is spectacular, is it not?

You really are one of the people who make it just that much better. Thank you. (:

I can’t wait until it really truly feels like fall.

You have lovely pictures, by the way! 🙂

Space stuff! I know space stuff. 😀 I’ve pretty much read through the entire astronomy section of a couple libraries (there was a lot of overlap).

Em~ You might want to try Physics of the Impossible by Michio Kaku. He talks about a lot of science fiction-y related science. If you’re not really interested in a specific element of astronomy and so on, I’d suggest just going to the library and checking out what catches your eye!

    Loved your blog, as usual.
    Fall is my favorite season.
I have a friend at church that loves astronomy-I will ask her where she gets her info from.
    Enjoy your weekend,
    love gagu

108 BOOKS wow, papa wants to know how you know you are going to like them?
You take good pictures, if you ever get the chance to take a photography class–do. You would have so much fun with it! It would open up a whole new perspective of picture taking for you.

It was two dollars per bag, so I didn’t really read the backs of books or anything. ( Not that I normally read the backs anyway!) I just look at the covers and if it looks good I take it. The only time I read the back is if I plan on buying the book at it’s normal price. With the 108 I’m looking through them now that I have them home.

    Love,
    E
