The Power of Handmade

So hopefully at least a few of you own something handmade, if not that is sad and I’ll make you something! 😀 I’m going to show you, not all mind you this is nothing compared to my entire collection, but I’m going to show some of the handmade stuff that I own! (Remember that this is just what I own too, not stuff my family owns!) In the captions I’ll tell you who made it! I’m super excited about this post!

This picture is of the cloth, not the sewing machine!!! (I made it!)

Yes, I made these, but I'll explain later...

Some cards I made!!

My favorite card I made!!

My dad and I MADE this awesome shelf!!! It's soo hard not to take it for granted because it's a part of my everyday life!

The stained glass picture my dad made for the shelf!!

I made this scarf really fast by finger-knitting.

This scarf I made is so soft! (All the scarfs, by the way, double as cool belts!)

I made this hat and scarf set and I love this picture!

I made this, trust me: other people have made stuff for me and it's in here!

I made this out of a skirt that I don't wear!

My sis, Faith, made this purse! (Grace got paid for modeling for me in the sweltering heat!)

I made the ring, Faith made the purse, and I made the charm on the purse!!

My mom made the hat and my Grandma S. made the scarf!

My Grandma, Gagu, made this scarf!

Gagu made this scarf, I love the shines on it!!

I made this scarf.

Faith made the sleeping mask, I made the pillow, and the blanket with Gagu!

I made this blanket with Gagu!

Gagu made this for me!

Grandma S. made this for me!

Same thing, Grace just was spinning! (I told her too!)

I made these jacket clips!

I made this bracelet!

My mom made the skirt and the pillow, I made the dress, jacket, and with Gagu's help, the flowered blanket underneath everything!

The flowered blue: I made with Gagu, the purple one: with Gagu, the striped blue: I turned a pair of shorts into another skirt, and the pillowcase: Gagu made!

That is all my pictures, but no way all my handmade stuff! Hey, do you think I could photograph models? 😀 Oh, the earrings! I took apart a pair of clip-ons, a tiny fake flower bouquet, and some earring things-that-go-in-your-ear-that-I-don’t-know-the-name-of! What handmade stuff do you have?

I love all of it! 😀

So, it looks like Faith crochets, and you knit and sew?

Handmade stuff at my house? FAR too much to list. 😀
