I made flower crowns, or daisy chains as they are sometimes called, for the first time with my sister the other day. Of course, I was actually “studying” for a test like I was supposed to be though! 😉 I had a fun time though (and I did get to the studying after), I plan on using flower crowns in future photo-shoots. I feel that, with the perfect lighting, it could be amazing! I’m not exactly sure what kind of flower it was that we used, but I do like them. After a few pictures with Faith, I brought the crown back outside for a few pictures and ended up: 1. Photographing the wild roses growing in our garden as well as the crown. And 2. Scraping my bare foot over a cactus that I didn’t see while I was snapping pictures. Fortunately there were no thorns or needles of any kind left in my foot after the photo-shoot.

Have you ever found new things in a regular sight for you? I see these roses all the time, but I can always spend another 10 minutes photographing them.
