‘K guys, this is my first actual Awesome and Awkward post. I’m usually more awkward, but I can’t think of much more to write. Besides there’s an extreme difference between awkward and downright humiliating.

Awesome

-My stuff from American Eagle came today!!! (from The Black Friday post)

-Last night, our church’s band played Christmas music in this street fair thing!

-Ate my first candy cane of the season!

-Getting excited about a winter swim meet in another state! Yay for traveling!

-Having a growing pile of gifts in my room to put under the tree!

-Having a French assignment of writing a letter to Santa!!! (In French, of course!)

-Actually being required to send the letter to Santa! (You are promised a response and apparently he’s moved to Quebec, for anyone who didn’t know! 😉 )

Awkward

-Turning around to catch the eye of someone watching you.

-Same person whips their head back, pretending they weren’t looking.

-Typos… *sigh*

-Writing a song in French and having your teacher ask you to sing it. (I didn’t end up singing it.)

-Trying to convince a little kid that one of her other swim coaches is not in love with me. (It was actually funny too, not just awkward!)

-Talking to fast and mixing up my he’s and she’s.
