Breaks from school are some of the strangest experiences I’ve ever had, half the time I don’t know what to do with myself and the other half of the time I’m thinking about how school isn’t the thing I need a break from. For example winter break was fun, but before Christmas I didn’t know what to do. (After Christmas that wasn’t the case.) Spring break was the other way around, I was busy almost the entire week, and I was thinking about how instead of a break for school, I needed a break from swim. (Don’t worry swim friends I’m not taking one!) Even though my breaks are weird I am still looking forward to my summer break that is just around the corner.
In the past years I’ve almost always put away my winter clothes around spring time and I’ve gotten out my summer clothes. I can’t do that this year! Okay there is something wrong with spring this year, I was dying of heat so bad yesterday that my sisters and I played in a small pool filled with cold water. Right now, 28 hours later, I am freezing, if I tried to swim in that water again right now I would suffer from frostbite! Plus where is my beautiful sunset that is always right out my window, after all I got a sunset yesterday! 🙂 I actually do know that this weather is fairly normal for spring, but it shocks me every year!
I did some work today in our garden, (still cleaning dirt from my nails) it’s looking better and better. We have two different gardens, one is everybodies’but my sisters, my dad, and I tend to be the ones working in it, and the other garden is smaller, but it’s mine, my dad does help me with it though. In the big garden we have tomatoes, green and yellow bell peppers, zucchini, cucumbers, jalapenos, Swiss chard, strawberries, cantaloupe, and squash. We are going to add more soon and a lot of the ones I told you have multiple plants. My garden is just going to be a bean field in the back and different flowers in the front. (I said ‘going to be’ because it hasn’t grown yet) I’ll post pictures of both once they’ve grown more! 😀
