Two Personalities

So in this post I get to share two things with you! (Sort of three actually.) First thing to share is I have the pictures of the shirt I made! The one I made a little while ago! I love it so much. (BTW I’m sorry if any of the photos looked smudged, I took some of the pictures in a mirror.

So there you go! Probably my favorite shirt right now! Oh, and I’m going to sort of tell you how I made it! Once upon a time, this was a  wrap skirt. I love making new things from old things or things I don’t like as much.  Since I don’t wear skirts too often and this one had lots of material, I made it into a shirt. So I layed it out, measured and cut edges and sleeves, and sewed it up! Sometime when I make something like that, I’ll take pictures of the process.

Here’s a sneak peek of the shirt I’m working on right now. It’s slow going, but it’s almost finished. I had to redo a lot of stuff, including ripping out two seams.

Now for the real second thing: I finished another goal!

X 7. Get a Ripstik.

Now for anyone who doesn’t know what a Ripstik is, that’s okay. I took pictures for you. It’s basically a skateboard, but you can steer it easier and in my opinion it’s safer then a skateboard. I’m so excited to ride it! I actually know how to ride one, because I rode one a long time ago. But I need to learn again, because it’s been too long. So here are the pics!

I titled this post as Two Personalities because I have, more than actually, two personalities. One likes to sit inside and sew all day in purple jeans and the other one likes to ride Ripstiks around in purple jeans. 😀

See you later!

Love the shirt, color looks great on you.
Also love the fact that you love sewing.
How fast do you go on your ripstick? It is pretty cool looking, I could try it and break my neck!
Remind me to tell you about making a strippy blouse.
    love gagu

Thank you! So far, I don’t go very fast at all because I’ve only been able to ride it in the kitchen and my room. I can’t really ride it outside in our backyard because of the bricks, but hopefully it won’t rain and I can take it to the park this weekend.
