Okay so I’m really bad with due dates, as you all know, but my new pet is a crayfish named JJ. His real name is John Jr, shortened to JJ, the story behind that is this little kid gave JJ to a librarian. The kid’s name is John and he named this crayfish John Jr. I just call him JJ, but even in our house JJ would have to be called John Jr, my dad’s name is John too. 🙂  Any way the librarian is a good friend of mine (I work with her when I volunteer) and I commented on her cute crayfish. She was happy to see that I liked him and she asked me if I wanted him, I did so I took him home the next day.  JJ lives happily on our kitchen counter, he isn’t afraid of us at all anymore, when I open the top of his cage he runs to the middle of his cage and waits for his food. I’ll post a picture of him soon.
