Guess Who

So on Wednesday I arranged to take home a special somebody from the library and yesterday I brought it home.  I will give you a few hints as to who or what it might be, but I will post what it is after you’ve guessed. So here are your hints:

1. It lives underwater, but it can’t swim.

2. You can feed it lettuce, cucumbers, carrots, hot dogs, and sinking shrimp pellets. (It’s not a shrimp)

3. It has to eat it’s shell in order to grow a new one.

4. It grows to about 3 or 4 inches.

5. There are about 500 species of  them and over 350 of them live in the US.

6. It uses little arms and legs to pull food into it’s mouth.

Okay, I can’t really think of any other hints that would be useful, without totally giving it away. If you are dying and you want to know right now, then here’s how you can find out: Gather all the letters(numbers and punctuation don’t count) I tell you to get, then unscramble the word. Okay here it goes.

First letter is in the first hint, the 23 rd letter in. Next letter is the second hint 1st letter. Third letter is the sixth hint 30th letter. After that is third hint, 4th letter. Next 5th hint 14th letter. Then 1st hint 1st letter. After that one comes 4th hint 4th letter. Last one 5th hint second letter. Okay now you get to unscramble the word!! Please don’t comment on what it is until I give the say so, that way other people can solve the mystery on their own. Thanks!

The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they display knowledge. Psalm 19:1-2

And then he said to the man, ” The fear of the Lord- that is wisdom, and to shun evil is understanding.”  Job 28:28

Enjoy your day, and I’ll post the name of  “it” soon!  🙂  Plus I’ll give you the entire story then too, because there are a lot more details then what I’ve told you so far! Bye for now,

Emily
