First of all, Halloween!! How did everyones’ Halloween go?  Ours was great. We carved pumpkins and cooked & ate the seeds, which is THE best part! Then I took my sisters trick or treating. Not too many kids came to our door, we had to eat the leftover candy. I do have a few pics of our Halloween pumpkins and stuff, but not on my camera. I’ll get them from the other one soon! I have something important to say!!

October 31st was Piper’s Birthday!!!

Just a little while ago I painted a picture of a dress! I was attempting to make it look like there was tulle over the dress, in case you wondered if I messed it up. I did mess up the dress form though! It’s too thick, I also didn’t quite manage to give the dress the shape I wanted. The list of faults is a bit longer than that, but I’ve noticed something. I never (usually) find faults with someone elses’ painting or sketch, unless I really look for it. With my own stuff, all I find is faults: The only thing that turned out correctly with that dress was that in the end it was red! I know you want to see the dress, well lucky for you I have pictures. Please don’t look for faults, you’ll find too many! 😀

 So something, that my dad has done for us once or twice, is play his slides of old pictures that he took a long time ago!! It’s really cool, (Piper you have to see it sometime!) the pictures have an amazing focus! It’s like having a portal above your family room couch! What was really funny was Hogan was barking at the pictures!!

This little bird flew into our window and sat there dazed for a while.

We made “Shattered Glass Cupcakes” for a Halloween party!
